International Pupils

To be able to integrate well into the life of the Lycée international pupils must have sufficient command of English or French. Work will continue to improve the command of both these languages. Brilliant and determined pupils, however, are capable of joining the first year of study even as beginners in both languages.

A’ Seconde Internationale Intensive’ in the English speaking international stream leads in one year to a full IGCSE Certificate (at least 7 subjects) with French as a foreign language and extra English lessons leading eventually to the International Bilingual Bilingual Diploma.

A ‘Seconde Internationale’ combining teaching in English and in French, after entry into the 3° Internationale leads to the taking of certain IGCSE certificates which then leads to preparation of the International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma.

A’ Seconde Francophone’ with French as a Foreign Language, English and preparation for some IGCSE certificates can lead to preparation of either the French Baccalauréat or the International Baccalaureate according to results.

It is also possible to join the school in the second year of study and follow either Baccalaureate programme.
