Starting this September, pupils in Seconde in the French section of the lycée will have the opportunity to enrol in the Dual Diploma programme. This enriching extra-curricular academic pathway allows pupils to obtain the American High School Diploma alongside their baccalauréat.
Pupils wishing to add this international dimension to their French curriculum will commit to 3-5 additional hours of schoolwork per week, studying online and in their own time with certified American teachers, based on the East Coast of the USA. They will study American history and economics, English language, and a selection of unique electives, including Psychology, Criminology, Life Management Skills, or even American University preparatory classes.
The Dual Diploma is an interesting opportunity to further develop and strengthen English skills, deepen one’s understanding of American culture and education, and is an asset that can be highlighted on Parcoursup when preparing university applications.
