In OMBROSA Savoie, each year between January and February, the classes from CE1 to CM2 spent two whole days in Mont Revard which is a ski resort peaking at 1600m in the Bauges Massif.
Each class was lucky to have good snow to enjoy airboarding (an inflatable sledge on which you lie down and slide), to do a snowball fight and to glide on a giant snow slide.
Thanks to the youth leaders, the pupils also learnt how to build an igloo to survive in bad snow conditions and they walked in the forest with snowshoes to observe the wildlife.
