As part of their IB Biology class, 1BI students investigate the causes and effects of global warming. Mr Nair, our new Biology teacher took this opportunity to offer students the chance to present to Mrs Crawley (Directrice Adjointe du Lycée) and Mrs Henderson (IB DP Coordinator). As Mrs Crawley launched the Climate Action Club this September, this was a great opportunity to discuss both the theory behind climate change and local, personal actions which can be taken by students. The presentations allowed students to collaborate on the visuals, communicate their findings, and conduct research while under timed conditions which encouraged self-management. A very good example of how clubs and subjects at Ombrosa work hand in hand.
