In Lower Secondary School, three classes per level welcome the 290 students.
A strong emphasis is laid on welcoming students in sixième (G6/Y7) and students coming from other schools in general.
Our priority is to allow them to quickly get their bearings and be fully integrated on the social level, but also in terms of work dynamic. Each and every one contributes: teachers through their subject, vie scolaire supervisors, club activity coaches, homeroom teachers, and the Head of Academics.
A specifically designed organisation for each level of the Lower Secondary and a benevolent supervision both allow pupils to develop themselves and to apprehend a form of liberty in a constructive way, within a controled and secured environment.
How do we integrate new students at Ombrosa Lower Secondary School?
Everyday, a time slot is dedicated to our diverse club activities that take place on site, from 4.00 to 5.30 pm (1.25 to 4.30 on Wednesdays). It is also possible to take advantage of that time to go to the school library, or work in study time.
International stays and exchanges abroad, outings or workshops also come in addition to the classes to expand the horizons and the children’s experience, specifically in accordance with the courses: health-sports, future, citizens, artistic and cultural education.
